"The Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2014 sportswear collection will be complemented by a collaboration with five international industrial designers: Frenchman Paul Venaille; American Debra Folz; Frenchman Benjamin Tortiger; Japanese-American Jonah Takagi; and Americans Jonathan Glatt and Sara Ossana of O&G Studio. The industrial designers will be creating modern reinterpretations of furnishings from the 1970s era of People’s Place – including a chair, desk, cabinet set, bench and lamp – using denim, chambray, or fabrics in Tommy Hilfiger’s signature shades of blue. The resulting designs will be displayed and available to purchase at select Tommy Hilfiger stores in Europe and Asia throughout Spring 2014.
